New Victorian tiled floors

Thanks to today’s manufacturers of geometric floor tiles, such as Original Style, it is possible to create authentic-looking Victorian tiled floors as features in modern houses, or period houses where no original floor exists.

There is almost an infinite number of and looks patterns possible, depending on how the different shapes, colours, decorative centre pieces and borders are pieced together.

Whereas original floors tend to have an mahogany or red feel to them, with a new Victorian-style floor, it is possible to choose any colours that you please. My client whose floor can be seen below went for a more modern grey colour scheme to her floor, which fitted beautifully within her more contemporary-interior whilst still reflecting the period of the property.
